Investments in water retention – new reliefs for entrepreneurs

On May 19, 2026, Resolution XXV/179/26 of the Dzierżoniów City Council entered into force, introducing a new de minimis aid program for entrepreneurs. This program offers the opportunity to receive a significant property tax exemption for up to 2 years. Don't wait—take advantage.

The de minimis aid offer is addressed to enterprises that:

•    has invested in the special support area designated by the resolution in the construction or expansion of infrastructure for stormwater and meltwater management and has incurred documented eligible costs, including, for example, the costs of purchasing and installing equipment, materials, and performing construction works related to the investment),
•    operates a business in the special support area designated by the resolution,
•    has an existing and operated connection to the municipal stormwater drainage system,
•    as a result of the investment, has eliminated or reduced the discharge of stormwater and meltwater into the municipal stormwater drainage system,
•    has obtained updated technical conditions for connection to the municipal stormwater drainage system before the investment commences.
Support is available for a maximum period of two years, up to 70% of eligible investment costs or up to the maximum allowable de minimis aid limit (€300,000 over the previous three years). To apply for the exemption, an application with attachments must be submitted on the official form by the end of the year in which the investment was completed.

We would like to remind you that entrepreneurs can also benefit from other property tax exemptions under de minimis aid, which in particular applies to companies that:
•    operate catering businesses in the city center,
•    build public parking lots,
•    invest in heating system changes,
•    eliminate barriers for people with disabilities.

The terms and conditions for using the above-mentioned exemptions are specified in individual resolutions of the Dzierżoniów City Council, available in the Dzierżoniów City Hall Public Information Bulletin.
