If you are unemployed or currently not working and live in Dzierżoniów or Świdnica, you can get free support through the “KIS bez barier – lokalna ścieżka wyjścia z wykluczenia” (“KIS without barriers – a local path out of social exclusion”) project. The Manufaktura Inicjatyw Foundation has started recruiting people who are unemployed or not currently working and who may be at risk of poverty or social exclusion.
The project is designed to help participants become more independent, get more involved in social and working life, and find a job. The support is tailored to each person’s needs and situation.
Participants can receive, among other things:
- career advice and help in planning their next steps,
- help with preparing a CV and other job application documents,
- preparation for job interviews,
- individual help with finding a job,
- vocational training in areas where employers are looking for workers,
- psychological, social, legal and family support,
- workshops to develop social and work-related skills,
- support in overcoming personal difficulties and barriers,
- educational and integration meetings,
- visits to local employers and social enterprises.
Participants also receive training and office materials, refreshments or meals during workshops and meetings, as well as tickets and other costs related to educational and integration activities. The project is also adapted to the needs of people with disabilities.
The project is open to people living in Dzierżoniów and Świdnica who are not currently working, including unemployed and economically inactive people who are at risk of poverty or social exclusion. After meeting the formal requirements, places are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Recruitment is carried out in cooperation with local institutions, including the Social Welfare Centre in Dzierżoniów, the Municipal Social Welfare Centre in Świdnica, and the District Labour Offices in Dzierżoniów and Świdnica. The Manufaktura Inicjatyw Foundation also helps applicants complete the application forms and other required documents.
